yet another timing question.
If for some reason my base timing was 10 degree off due to hardwares (distrubitor ect) fault, can I advance my whole table by 10 degree to compensate? or is there another way?

Re:yet another timing question.
Why wouldn't you just adjust it correctly?

Re:yet another timing question.
I would sugest that you put the timing to the OEM Specs. then adjust your map accordinglly. 98ctr

Re:yet another timing question.
I would not be asking this question if things were that simple. My distributor is taking the plunge, even when I turned it all the way, it only goes up to 6degree at idle.

Re:yet another timing question.
wait, save up some money, buy a f*cking dizzy and get your ---- running right instead of rigging it, blowing it up and the crying about it later.

Re:yet another timing question.
Yes it will work. Use a dial-back light so you can get it dead on.
IMHO, if your tables say 15 at idle and your dial-back gun says 5 at idle, just add 10 accross the board in your maps. Ghetto, yes, but it will work. Just always have to keep that 10* in mind when staring at your maps ;) |
