the origional VAFC was what everyone start off in the early HMT stage. like 2 years ago??

it has a little more function than the origional.

the AFC is a device that allows you to modify the MAP signal going into the ECU hence allow you to adjust the amount of fuel beign injected into the engine. (+/- 50% ?)
VAFC also allow you to adjust the engagement and disengagement (spell :P) point of Vtec.

 

alrighty.. SO is it adjustable by what ? diff chips ? because i was asking about ecu decisions to this guy in my town on here and he said he would sell me a VAFC and he ran it on 2 other cars and did well... WOuld a VAFC work good with a small turbo on a D16Z6 ? and how much Would a VAFC go for used??

no, it has buttons that you touch.
read the faq. it goes over the vafc's function and use, and the problems with using it.

i think thats why he put the question marks. and man do you need to search. how do you wanna turbo your car and you dont even kno what an afc is. haha. do you kno what an intercooler is? what its function is. how bout wastegate? what's that.
