Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
take out your missing link. what is your fmi? do you mean fmu? if so take that out too.try - 38 accross the entire range while your trying to start it. make sure all your connections are tight. is the car turning over at least??? more detail pls!!

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
sorry i meant front mount intercooler(even though that has nothing to do with starting

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
yes it is trying to start like every 4 seconds, give or take a second
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
took out link, -38 across the range still nothing, could the plugs be that flooded that i need new ones? i took them out and dried them off each time i retried starting it.

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
what are the other setting on the afc, make sure its set to pressure, 4cylinder and the aroow pointing up.

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
all of those are set

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
trying to start evry four seconds?...battery is dead man

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
its constantly cranking but wants to turn over like every 4 seconds, if that makes sence to you

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
try unplugin ur afc hack and see..

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,

Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
make sure you put the mising link back in since the afc needs that to work right for boost im told

are you being serious? no it doesn't |
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
the afc needs to see the proper voltage from the map so it can make accurate changes to the signal then send that to the ecu. a missing link is only needed when using a FMU
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
yes, i concur ;)
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
but the afc doesnt have a voltage clamp as far as i know, so you will throw a code for exceeding the max voltage...thats what ive heard at least...i have no clue, i have an smc which has a voltage clamp anyway
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
you do NOT need a missing link with the afc
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
the car lilbushhead is talking about is mine. No missing link and no cel. Running fine still looking out for detonation. Got it set a 5psi but's it's spiking to 7. Any one no anything on timing if i should retard it and if so how much
|
Re:won`t start, afc, rc 440, missing link, t-25, fmi,
Wont the ecu throw the cel if the psi goes past like 10. something and that is when you need the missing link?
