willems enhanced programmer help
 

i have software 0.97g off the willems site, this thing is barrowed and i cant get it to read or program a chip..

1. do i set the software to willems or pcb3
2.my board doesnt look like anypictures i see on the prgram or pgmfi, so i dont know if im suppsed to change jumpers and if so which ones where
when i test hardware it says present,
when i do chip read it says chip read ok, if i go to save bin then try to open it with uber it gets an error and closes and does the windows error reporting
when i try to erase is happens instantly so im not sure if its actually erasing it or not..
when i load a bin it says bin file loaded ok,
when i click program it starts then goes right to ERROR: Write sector 1, somtimes sector 0

if anyone can point out what im doin wrong id appreciate it meanwhile ill keep trying and reading

o ya, the chip in it has a known good uberdata bin on it, im just trying to read it, erase it, then program it with a diff one for practice before i do the one im gona put in the ecu

got it to work.. this things retarded.. had to hit erase chip like 20 times then it programed and i read the bin off it and it was ok.

Took me awhile to get mine figured out too, but now it works like a charm.

ya that things a mess, not user friendly at all.. thats what you get for under like $40 or whatever they cost
