just open the willem software, go under 'device' and choose '27c256', the image in the software will then change to the correct dip and jumper settings for the 27c, so just change the settings on your programmer to match what it shows in the software.

Is that a big pain in the ass to switch back and forth like that? My new burner should come with a 29C chip and I think the chips you sell are 27C? I haven't actually gotten the burner yet anyway (10 to 21 day delivery from Hong---------Kong ::) ) so I really haven't had to do any setups, but I thought I read somehwere too that you should reset the burner every time you use it (or between burns)?

I dont think it would be a major pain to switch the jumpers for the different chips but it is much nicer to just change the settings in the software like you can with other burners out there.

Basically, just get it set and use one type of chip.

it was simple to switch for me, just flip the dip's to match.

ps - my willem showed up in about 6 days from hong kong
