Will P28 run obd1 ZC?

Default Will P28 run obd1 ZC?
Im up late, working on a DOHC ZC into a Del Sol (auto) for a guy, when I realize that I have no Idea if a P28 For the vtec D16Z6 will run the non-vtec DOHC ZC. Last time I just installed a P29 from the start. Any Ideas?

It will run it, but you'll get a code for VTEC pressure.

I'm sure you could somehow. I tried it once and wasn't succesful. I couldn't figure out what source it needed. I thought it would be a ground or maybe a 5 volt signal? I didn't have a VTEC vehicle to test.

just tell me the board number and i'll tell you which chips/parts to remove.
