Default Will a p06 ecu work on a Z6 motor w/out vtec?

Hey guys.. so im still tryin to solve why my stupid burner won't work on crome for my stock map that i need. If i use a P06 map on my recently just swapped dZ6, will it run ok and not have Vtec? Or is this just a bad idea??

sounds good. Will it bog or anything? or the air/fuel should be ok to jus drive conservatively?

it'll be fine.

1.5L and 1.6L maps are nearly identical.
