Will I even Need Engine Management

Heres the setup i was gonna do. T25 @ 8psi, DSM450's, HF manifold, SMIC. Will I even need any engine management? If so, what would be the best thing (i am on obd2 ecu and really don't feel like spending all that money on chipped ecu and a tune)

With 8psi you will need to get it tuned chipped ecu and all. You could use like one of those vafc things to control the injectors. and then retard your distributer some. But now that I'm learning how to tune and use crome, Man retarding the distributer really doesn't do that much

But dude seriously a vafc usaully runs 150+$ a chipped ecu is 150 then you can pay a local tuner to tune your car.

If you don't get it tuned a new motor thats worth having is 500+ getting tuned is cheaper than that and you will be a lot happier with the outcome of your project.

The most important thing in boosting a honda is the engine management. if you don't do it you may as well not do it at all it's a waste of money a waste of your time and a waste of a running engine.

don't burden yourself.

Just bolt that sucker on and rip around for a while. The stock ECU will take care of just 8psi. These pussies don't know what they are talkin gabout.

Cray has a lot more experiance with this stuff than I do. Listen to the man. Remember, Weld your wastegate shut so you don't get a boost leak.

Because they think you'd be best off getting a rope.

You will need management. Its the only area where being a cheap bastard will cost you big in future.
