soon im gonna be boosting my d14z2 ej9 but its n/a for the moment... for the last month ive had a decrease in my cars performance and today i figured out that if i dont give full throttle but give about 85-90% throttle the car runs faster what could be causing this??

Hows the condition of the air filter? Could be a number of things, possibly your air filter, spark plugs, plug wires, O2 sensor maybe causing you to run too rich. Check out the easiest things first.

i don't think its the air filter or the spark plug... they are all new.. i belive its a problem with the o2 sensor.. my car is obd2 so it has two sensor on exhaust way one on exhaust manifold and one on catalitic converter but i've uninstalled my cat about 2 years ago and when i last checked the sensor of cat was broken... does that sensor have a role in air fuel mixture?? i thought only the one on exhaust manifold has but maybe i'm wrong

i also have doubt on the distrubitor... the mechanic guy had fixed something with the distrubitor but he dropped a small( very small lookes like the ones in pens) spring and lost it and put some other spring that was not original may be that could ---- up the timing or the power of the spark.. any ideas?
