so what is the diffrence between the AEM and the innovate
|
Re: Wideband Question
If I remember correctly the AEM unit does not have a linear output thus making it more difficult to formulate an accurate A/F voltage relationship. Also if IO not mistaken almost all dataloggers rely upon a linear output.
If I am wrong then ignore that staement. EDIT: Can't find anything to support that statement. :-\ |
Re: Wideband Question
you're right, it doesnt have linear output. but the only one out of those wb's that has linear output is the plx m300(which I have).
the zeitronix doesnt have it, but ----, imo, after you get over it not having a gauge, its tons better than the plx. plus, the aem has its own datalogging capabilities. lm-1, which is ------- expensive doesnt have it. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm1.php neither does the lc-1. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lc1.php |
Re: Wideband Question
Are saying that the the Innovates don't have a linear output or that they don't have datalogging capabilities? Because I believe that both of those statements are incorrect. The Innovate units can datalog, but you have to buy an extra piece of equipment.
PLX makes a very nice unit indeed. |
Re: Wideband Question
they dont have linear output. atleast the site doesnt state it. they have analog outputs, but theyre non linear.
