I have had mine for a very long time. I have two of them and have used it on tons of cars including my own for 6 months and it is still kicking.

Me too...

too rich, or its too close to the turbo or condensation has gotten in it perhaps

i remember reading that the older widebands needed the o2 replaced every 100hrs but that was back when a wideband would cost more than your car. the vw o2 shouldn't do this because they come stock on vw. i say post a pic of where tha o2 is. its after the turbo right?

i've had mine daily driven for 2+ years. i use the same one on our dyno. you either way too rich or have it mounted where it gets moisture in it.

it needs to be installed right before the cat. and must be directly on top. if you mount is sideways it might get condensation in it, or if you running rich, or if its too close to the head. I used ti have mine mounted right after the turbo if lasted a week. now its mounted at stock location before the cat. 7000+ miles later its still working daily driven

dunno how accurate it would be right before the cat. i supposed the general rule is 8-10 inches from the turbine housing?

I would look into something physically wrong with it. LIke said above; location, condensation, dropping it ect.
