Wideband o2 Question

I can get an Innovate LM-1 brand new for 310..and the PLX m300 for 305 shipped...

Which one would you get and why? What features does one have that the other doesn't? Do they both have narrowband outputs? I'll be tuning via uberdata if that's any help.

Re:Wideband o2 Question

Between the two, well the LM-1 datalogs as part of the system. The PLX is non data-logging I beleive. I think you have to go 450 to get that.

Other than that they use the same sensor. The LM-1 has this input bar thing, but that costs money also.

PLX is non-datalogging?

How do you tune with uberdata though? I thought uberdata datalogs with PLX

Uberdata does, but you can't datalog with the standard PLX without Uberdata or the upgraded PLX. If you're going to use Uberdata anyway the Zeitronix is a better value, comes with datalogging that is not GAY (it allows you to export your datalogs to Excel or similar) and it has a user input that you can use to track your map sensor. Downside is it doesn't come with a display, but that should be a non-issue if you have a laptop (which you can use to datalog via Uberdata as well)

Re:Wideband o2 Question

IMO it is kinda a question of wether you have a laptop or want to buy one.

A friend of mine didn't have the $ for one and he wanted to tune multiple peoples cars, so he got the PM-1 and loved it for what he was doing. You just have to decide how you are going to tune, then you can find the best one that fits you.

I like the PLX because of the nice display. ALso the LM1 is more expensive if you need to get the RPM pick up to even datalog RPMs.

Re:Wideband o2 Question

I recently got in on an EVO group buy for a Zeitronix unit. Paid $250 for the ZT-2 w/out a display. I dont need a display cause i'm going to use my laptop to datalog and once i'm done tuning the Wideband will be taken off the car.
