I'm new to the game, can someone school me on what a wideband is and what it does.... Right now i'm running the afc hack.. Thanx

Anubis does have it right.




But I'm in a good mood!

A Wideband is an Oxygen Sensor. A Stock OEM Oxygen Sensor is considered a Narrowband Which only read 14.5-14.9 AFR accurately.

On a Boosted or any tuned car you want out of this range, so a narrowband is no good.

A Wideband reads approximately 10.0-21.0 AFR so it has a much broader scale, reading in the area most people want to tune.
