Wide band tuning software, virtual tune. Not 56k friendly

check it out, its for tuning hondas with stock maps. It reads in a cvs log such tech edges wideband log and outputs it in a format that similar to uberdata / chrome. You can see where your going lean or rich. In my case stupid rich.

Heh, you're whoring this on every board know to man, eh? :)

Does it read an output log form the TechEdge, or there a serial connectio between the TechEdge and your program that is output data in realtime?

...btw, your values look pretty screwed up(?). Very scattered. Is that aprt of the TechEdge datalogging? ..or are you calculating AFR based on a formula from the voltage?

Also, Honda reads from 4 cells, and averages them. If it's a realtime log, you should log all current four cells for better accuracy.

Good work though, glad to see others getting into the game!... should help out a lot of TechEdge users.

First question, It reads logs right now. I was thinking about expanding but ----, I already tuned my car pretty dam good in two chip writes. I very pleased right now.

2nd AF ratios look pretty screwed up but because the log shown wasnt a good log.

3rd It averages all values < 16.. what I really needs to do is read the tps sensor. you know when you left off the tps the injectors close giving you some very ugly AF values.

4th... this can work with anyone who has the rpm/map/af ratio logged. its not just for tech edge. I might give it a little config setup so you can choose what columns to read from the log.

Current functions are Min Values / Max Values/ Iterate Values / Avg Values.

see if I can actually post a picture this time.

This is a before shot of my log, see why I needed the tuning so bad... I guess the good thing is that I wasnt going lean :-)

Cool little utility!

Nice work!

I'm thinking about adding a horsepower / torque.

The log gives rpm vs time
I can look up the gear ratio, tire size, car wieght.

That looks like enough data to come up with a horsepower/torque.

You any good with physics?

Ill give you some formuals for power to accelerate and wind resist when i come back from work... The only factor i woldnt know if rolling resist.

I dont think I will be doing horsepower.

rpm2- 2k rpm
rpm1- 8k rpm

I am going to do a measurement of time from rpm2 - rpm1. The faster the smaller the number the better.
