wide-band purchase
I'm in the market for a wide-band monitor for afr's and tuning purposes. Anybody have some advise on brands or where to go to get the best deal? I was told of one that retails somewhere between 300-400, does that ring a bell to anyone?

Re:wide-band purchase
Rings a bell because I think most go for that price range ;) but Ive been tuning with the PLX M-300. It's one of the greatest tools I've ever spent money on. Very simple to install and very accurate as well.

Re:wide-band purchase
How much did the PLX run? Has anybody used the LM-1 before? This is a tool that I plan on using for quite some time, so I might as well get something that will do the job and do it well.

Re:wide-band purchase
Airtonics is using the LM-1 and he loves it. He made a post about it a while ago.

Re:wide-band purchase
get a techedge wideband kit.
for $240usd you get a wideband controller with datalogging built in; cables to go to the o2 sensor; display; and shipping from australia. Then another $30 from 1stvwparts.com you get the wideband sensor. i bought mine and put it together no problems and i love(d) it. my car is down right now so i haven't had a chance to really test it :-/ |
