Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I'm not sure who else is actually using TE with a wideband and taking basemaps to the semi-tuned status besides myself.
Please email any maps you have that are street or dyno tuned using TE and a Wideband. I want to get these up on turboedit.org or for the meantime I will host them on my site for now. Post if you have them...email them too me or post a link to download them if you have a host you can post them on. |

Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I have a pretty good A6 map based on Bludars LS map. Ive got about 2hrs of WB street tuning into it. Runs very well. Ill throw it up when I get off work tonight.

Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I'm also converting Zdyne tunes...
Can't beat dyno based tunes. ::) |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
No you cant!
This definitely needs to stay organized so please put any and ALL info you can into the BIN file when you post it or email. Things that are important to list: 1)Stock Engine - If different head please list - If different intake manifold please list - If different throttle body please list - Static Compression if different 2)Fuel Pressure PSI with vacuum hose OFF 3)Injector Size 4)How many PSI of boost the map is tuned too 5)Size of Downpipe/Exhaust Did I miss anything? |

yeah reading is over rated.... |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
So just Leed, Jason and myself?
|
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
Dustin is WB tuning...
Though I haven't seen him for a few days. A local guy to me "beaterKU" will be WB tuning also. |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
You get ROMulator support added back? I desparately need it this weekend. Plus I am tuning a turbo ZC next week I think and that would save loads of time.
Perty please ;D |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
Oh fine....
I'll come up with something. |

Since I changed to the new backend.. ROMulator support changed slightly in dealing with the ROM Properties.
The tables didn't change at all.. actualyl amde for LESS code. :D But I have to rewrite the ROM properties verification routine. This won't take too long.. I'm working on it right now. I should have something available in a few hours. |

Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I have about 20 hours of wideband time in on the B18B/turbo map I posted on PGMFI. Most of it is vacuum / cruise / fuel economy related however. The boost region is perfectly safe... wobbles between 11.5 and 12 AFRs. Timing is straight up step retard - could probably use more work.
97 B18B motor, 91 B18A intake mani, SSAC tubular, .48ARhot/.63AR compressor .50trim Saab T3, 3" DP, 3" stainless exhaust, Apexi N1 3"in/4" out muffler, walbro 255 lph fuel pump, DSM 450s, stock FPR - no fuel pressure guage, stock fuel return, stock fuel filter, starion IC. Tune = DB09.exp ECU = 91 PM6 I have about 1 hour of widebanding on the PM6 tune that I posted on PGMFI. I took Leed's advice (-12% from my LS tune) and then did a little further refining of 1900-3000 RPM (was too rich) and 6300+ RPM (again, too rich), idle (too rich) and then did some work to try to get a gradual transition from 13.5 AFR at 0psi to 11.5 AFR @10spi. Step retard. Pretty ------- decent tune for how quick it was done. Stock D16A6 motor, Y8 intake manifold, 62mm ITR TB, Volvo 760 T3 turbo, Saab Viggen IC, DSM 450cc injectors, 38psi FP @ idle with stock FPR + walbro 255 pump. Ran 1700ish lb 89 HF CRX to 13.14@107mph Was run on "T85" (1 gallon tolulene / 4 gallons BP93) for safety purposes so I don't know if it is pump gas-friendly (although I would expect it is.) Tune = Foowee3.exp ECU = 91 PS9 (converted to PM6) |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I shall be spending a good 4 hours tomorrow on the new PM6 and PM7 versions of code with my setup.
Upping the boost to 8....um maybe 10:) and tuning on both the PR4 and PM6 ecus. Then next week if this guy doesnt fall through, I should have a nice ZC tune ready to post. I hope the code doesnt change much anymore ??? |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
As far as TE map import/export code goes.. It _shouldn't_ change too much anymore. It's a lot more flexiable than it used to be. So tunes created should be able to be used in the future. ;)

Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
Tested the Romulator ish, and it works.

Who else has them? Comeon people....
|
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I should have a dyno tuned y8 10psi map in about two weeks. I'm working on it. ;)

Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
Wideband going in today...
Dyno in a few weeks for the ignition... DOHC ZC T3 42./.48 2.5" Downpipe No Cat Through Muffler 450cc Tyrus 5" intercooler 2.5 Charge Pipes HOWEVER...Tuning in denver subs so 6000' elevation. Prob run lean on anyone elses setups. |

Proper timing is very helpful too... ;D |
Re:Who is tuning TurboEdit setup(s) with a Wideband, need semi-tuned Maps
I'll have a tune for a DOHC ZC also...running a T3 .42/.36
2.5" downpipe, full 2.5" exhaust with free flowing 2.5" inlet muffler and 3.5" outlet...no CAT running 450's with 2" charge pipes and a nice sidemount intercooler. I have an almost finished bin, but we'll confirm if it's ok this weekend with the WBO2. |
