Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
What do I do with j9&j10? This is the CalR connection?
I'm in the process of testing this WB and am confused on what this is. |
Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
Update. I fiqured it out. I have the kit and installed just a matter of tuning with it to see it it works!
Hopefully it does because that means this WBo2 cost me 30 bucks and a few hours of assembly and testing! |
Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
i just completed the kit as well it doesnt work as of right now but i went half way through the testing. Ive been busy lately so ill get back to it this week. wat does j9 j10 really do? it's used to test i know but how exactly? and how many of the "extra" resisitors did u add?

Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
what are you using for display? I have one the board is completed, but no display or o2 sensor yet
|
Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
j9 and j10 is only used in testing (as far as I know)
works good so far. I just have it in the car, haven't done any tuning with it. For extra resistors, I think I added 2 330~ and 2 200k~. Not to sure. I can check if your still fuzzy. For display, Right now it's jsut my DVM, but I might buy the datalogger that is linked on the site. (Hopefully I can link it to work with rpms or boost or something to reference it against) |
Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
so it was only $30 total cost for your wideband?
is that 100% everything for it? |
Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
I'm still undecided on what to do, should I just just buy a professional wideband,$300 plus, I got the money, or should I complete this DIY kit, :-\ I'm tempted on the plx m300, or so $315 shipped. I dont know what to do. help me decide.

Re:Who has made the DIY WBo2 Kit?
Almost, By the time the kit came to me it was 30 dollars. Then wires and a project box. Total 45 dollars tops. The sensor came with my Manifold when I bought it from the junk yard. I just took it out of the manifold and kept it thinking I know someone that could use an OBD1 o2 sensor. Then I learned it was a wideband.
