Most ppl around here skip the FMU and run either OBD0 or OBD1 boost code.

You are OBD1.

The plus sides are accurate fuel delivery which FMUs won't give you, and the fact your ignition is controlled.

No!The missing link is so your ECU wont throw a check engine light.By placing the map senser higher with the missing link it prevents the map senser frome seeing bosst.

As far for fuel management the best route is 450cc injectors and a AFC in your case since you dont have vtec. The AFC will help you tune the injectors by fooling the MAP senser signal(voltage) back to the ECU to meet the requirements of whatever PSI(more air via turbo charger) you decide to run.

Read through more of the engine management posts. You will be enlightened.Theres like 40 pages of info on engine management on this forum.

I disagree, AFC is three times as expensive as a chip burner.

AFC is a little more user friendly the first time through, so do whatever your comfort level dictates.

Bigger injectors(450cc)!
Like I said you need the AFC couse the injectors by them selfs will be too much fuel.So you need tha AFC to remove fuel by fooling the MAP senser.
