What psi is walboro 255???

I couldn't find any resonable answers. Some say 55 psi and some say 60 psi. Since the search doesn't work hear either can any one give me a definate answer. Thanks.

fuel pumps dont flow a psi...fuel pressure is controlled by a fuel pressure regulator

the difference between the HP fuel pumps and the regular is that with the proper voltage, these fuel pumps will better flow at higher needed fuel pressures

but if you hook them up and let them run for an hour, they will both flow 255 liters of liquid

pressure isnt part of the equation in Liters per Hour...

On another note...
injectors flow at lb/hr or cc/min at a particular PSI to compare one from another but the injector isnt creating the flow and this is why

Well, Im just not sure what to put for the fuel pressure on uberdata. I know stock i just leave it at 42 but not sure what i use a walbro.

yoour pressure raises and lowers threw the rpm band

oh yes it is :)

Unless your doing all testing in the absolute vacuum of space :)

Re: What psi is walboro 255???

so would it be correct to assume that the liters per hour measurement is a statement of how much volume the pump will flow in a given period of time, regardless of pressure? like if you flow 255 liters over a period of an hour , does it matter if the fluid comes out at 2 psi or 1000 psi, its still the same amount of fluid.?

so then a low pressure pump would be better, or no?

"These pumps flow 255 ltr/hr at 40 psi, and 285 ltr/hr at 0 psi."

i dunno...you do agree that the fuel pressure regulator is what is supposed to control the rail pressure though right? :P

I think he means, if you gave the pump 12v and filled a container with gas and a reservoir that feeds the pump with gas and hooked the pump upto the reservoir, what the pressure inside said container would be.

-OR -

I think he is saying life is the container and we're just fuel. Don't you get it man? It's symbolic of the times we're livin in man and all of the pressures put upon us as a society. I dig that ---- good metaphor. :y /puts down shrooms/
