What non vtec ecu?

Well i have a D16Y7 engine and i am building it for boost.. In the future id like to use a better engine management rather than sticking with the hack..

The problem is that i can use the so popular P28 or P30 cause i have no vtec and i dont intend on switching to vtec. So i know that in order to make better power and have better tunning possibilities i have to convert to OBDI..So which OBDI ecu can i use with ubberdata?

Can i take an LS OBDI ECU and use it an it will work?(being it for a 1.8lt)

What Ecu options do i have?

P06.. PR4(OBD1).. P75..

..or, why not just get a P28 or P30 and disable VTEC, or run P75 code from Uberdata?

There is a byte address that you set to a null (0xFF).. the luxuries of OBD1. ::sigh::

FJT get a P06. Its cheap. You have to convert to a 2 wire IAC for the idle to be right.

SO i cant dissable VTEC or Knock S. w/o chipping huh?

I have this ECU that worked really well when i was Sohc Vtec but im noon Vtec again and it seems no one wants to buy an OBDIIB ECU..So i thought that id use it if i can find a way to dissable those 2 things.
