i thought you needed a dizzy to cause form odb0 to 0db1 you need one. soyoud think it would be the same. but i do remeber that the hmt install up hear in the NE we did the conversion harness and the odb1 ecu and it ran fine.

Maybe it's just with OBD0-OBD1? I've never messed with OBD2 ---- so I don't know.

the deal with the distributors is the spline count on the reluctor wheel, obd0 is 18 or something and after that it's 24 or something. I posted a picture a while back of the difference between the obd0 and obd1 distributor shaft and reluctor wheel, but nobody responded to that thread ever again.

You wont need to do an IAC conversion because the B18 uses a 2 wire to start with. Only Y7's and Y8 autos.

so if i wanna use a p28 or one of the p06s that teg has in the classifieds that are coverted for vtec. what would it take to make them work? meaning disabling the secondaries?

Maybe you can convert one to open the IAB's. I'm pretty sure you can do it.

yeah, you can do it, i know how, but i never have and wouldn't feel confident doing it for the first time on an ecu that i would be selling :-\
