what do i need to install msd 2 step?

Default what do i need to install msd 2 step?

=hello everybody,

i want a launch control for my car.

i looked into msd 2 step, but i didnt got it yet. do i need anything alse besides the 2 step to make it work?

AFAIK all you need is the 2-step and rig up some way to (I think) send a 12v signal to the unit while you are wanting the low-limit to be active. Search the honda-tech archives for "msd and step and install". You may not have a Honda but it'll have some explanation in there, also you can go on the MSD site and get install instructions for any/all of their products.

need a MSD 6AL to start with.......the wire the two step into the clutch switch.

wouldn't wireing the 2 step switch to the clutch pedal make the low limit engage while shifting? i have a MSD digital 6 box with 2 step and wired it to a button on the steering wheel. some people wire it to a button on the shifter or the E-brake if the preload.
