i did see in other forum..

It could be anything. A connector for the ecu to datalog only needs 4 wires.
For all we know he could have done an OBD1 to OBD2 conversion from the look of it, no idea why though. |

That connects the flux capacitor to the ecu. After all that is what makes time travel possible.

Never seen anything like that for ECU tuning. Maybe for plugging in a Display of sorts...DVD?

Actually, it's the almost the exact same connector. 8 pins on each side. Don't pay attention to the "official" OBDII casing as in the second pic, the home made setup as in the first one has plenty of room and allows for an OBDII connector to fit.
