Washed engine bay. Now I got problems

You probably can't remember this now but, what exactly did you hit with the wand? I've power washed cars before and didn't have a problem...... I always did it with the engine running though that may have been the difference.

BTW did you check the simple stuff like wire and cap and rotor? I know you covered in plastic but a pressure washer can get water anywhere.

Is that car wash place watched? Around here it's illegal to wash your engine bay b/c of the contaminates... But that might just be a Florida thing. Our drinking water is like 4 feet below ground...

Nope havent checked the cap and rotor. I dont see how water could have gotten in there but i'm gonna check anyway. The only place I actually held down the trigger was for the firewall. The rest I just used the low-pressure for.

Nah place isnt watched. This is SC man. You could have a bumper sticker saying "I removed both of my cats and EGR, suck my *****" and not worry about it.

check the map sensor,
it has a very very small hole on it. to level with the atmospheric pressure,

dude. I've got a fiance and she keeps me plenty satisfied but thanks. I dont need to resort to.....THAT

Well I removed the dizzy cap and while it wasnt broken, it broke when I took it off (the spring loaded contact for the coil output. I put a new cap on there, it ran like *** and was hard as hell to start, but once it got cleared out it runs like brand new. Thanks for the help guys

Well, here in Miami they don't give a ---- about your car either. But if they catch u polluting ground water at a business, that place can get a big *** fine. So they look out for their own ***.
