want to start tuning
 

ok im posting on hmt because it has always been a very helpful and useful site so i dont want any flamming please or i would of posted this on h-t i am looking into tune my car and try learn wtf im doing i have done some research and read the read me threads and think i understand what is being talked about in the threads my question is what should i start out with crome uberdata or something different and what all i will need so far i came up with the following i would need

burner
chips
emulator
engine management system
laptop
datalogging

and im sure i am missing something can some people who know what the hell they are talkin about add some useful and helpful information about what is needed should i just buy a http://www.-------------/catalog/apu1...ion-p-140.html or like buy things seperate is there anything that could further expand my knownledge which is not much at the moment on what i need how things are to be done and so on

No you didn't. Otherwise you would have left chips, and the burner off the list. They are more assumed than a wideband. lol.

Your list looks pretty good though.

haha thats funny and i thought about that to after i wrote it hahaha but i have a wideband for my turbo set up already and like i said i know the basics O0 but hmt makes me feel at home unlike the homos at h-t as everyone can most likely agree

thanks for the info guys please keep it coming any recomendations on what kind of emulators and chip burner to use and so on i really would like to konw what everyone uses im curious
