vtec-e p07 chippable?
like it says.... i bought what was advertised as a jdm d15b manual tranny ecu.... well it damn sure was that.. they forgot to mention it was the Vtec-e vesion.. which is a p07 instead of a p0-8
any ------ way is the p07 JDM VTEC-E chippable?? if so is there going to be a huge issue configuring it to use a 4 wire o2 sensor instead of the 6 (or whatever) wire one the vx uses? thanks |
Re: vtec-e p07 chippable?

Re: vtec-e p07 chippable?
not arguing or anything cause im def not a expert... but as far as i can tell.. there is indeed a jdm p07.. like i said... as far as i can tell. this is from a asian site descriving the two variants of the jdm d15B http://asia.vtec.net/article/d15b/
"When VTEC became available, two versions of VTEC D15Bs were developed for the EG-series (1991-1995) Civic. One is the well-knowned VTEC-E which delivered an incredible 20+km/l mileage. The other is the VTEC D15B, a power implementation" and aside from that im sitting here looking at an ecu that came off a container from japan and its labeled p07. this ---- is all news to me.. i thought i was getting a p08 can anyone chime in on the JDM p07? |
