Default Venom - Computer and Intake...

I was searching and curious how well the intake would work on a non-boosted d16y8. Oh yea, and is the Venom module all it's cracked up to be? 25% more HP? That's a good bit for the ease and price. Does it work? Anyone know? I've been looking for a new ECU or chip to help me out some. What about the egay chips on there. No the resistors the real modules that claim they outperform Jet, Superchip, and Venom? Thanks guys!

So what about the intake? Still no help with that. Yea, HMT I got it thanks for refreshing my memory. Problem is I don't have the ability to HMT my own turbo without extensive other editions. I have an EK and don't feel like spending the extra $150 for Uberdata OBD1 swap.

this is a TURBO site. If you can't spend the $150 for an obd1 setup then you shouldn't even be considering a turbo setup because it costs way more than that. Those venom chips don't do ---- either...that 25% is bs.

I have the money for the turbo. Why should I spend all kinds of money on a chipped ECU and hardward just to manage my car. I'm unsure about the turbo thing that's all. So spending money on a chipped ECU that really is used to its potentail when combined with a turbo I seem to be screwed. I was looking for an alternative see. If I'm not suppose to ask any non-turbo questions I'll leave an come back when I'm ready for turbo. This is the FI forum so I don't see the problem.

Cut out the middle man and just take a large hammer to the side of your block.

i was just kidding about needing a chipped ecu. Get the venom chip and boost your car with 20psi. Your car will be a BEAST!
