Default vafc or safc
Hey, this might be a stupid question but I plan on running 450cc's with a 255lph fuel pump and a fmu on my d16z6 with a t3/t04b turbo. I was wondering if the only diffrence between the vafc and safc is the vtec. Im dont think im gonna mess with my vtec but I can get the vafc for less money. I herd something about hack to but im not sure what that is?

Vafc and Safc do the same thing, Vafc just has the extra function of controling vtec engagement.

NOT SO FAST. gen 1 units are the same. the gen2 safc has some features the gen2 vafc does not - namely dual maps and knock monitoring. If you are getting gen1, get the one you find cheapest, otherwise get the safc2

^yeah what they said!^ but why are you going to use an fmu?? you got the 450's and get the afc, and thats all you need. the fuel pump will help also but an fmu..... you must be crazy, throw that ---- out!

Really, with 450s a fuel pump and afc you dont need a fmu?

yes sir! no fmu! havent you read the engine managment faq it tells you everything you need to know about using the bigger 450cc injectors with the AFC. read it! you might learn something
