vafc question??

what is the largest size of injectors you can use for boost on a b18c1 with a vafc??? can you only use 450cc injectors with the vafc or can u use bigger??? i plan on doing major boosting later on so can i use it for controlling the boost up to say 25 psi???

Goddamn, 25 psi?! Hmm .... you can run larger than 450cc injectors. You neg the setting to -36to-38 when running 450s usually, so that give your plenty of leain way in making some sizeable upgrades. - Matt

Re:vafc question??

Actually.. You won't be able to fuel 25psi on 450cc injectors, they do not flow enough fuel. You would need a minimum of 700cc, which would be running you at about 100% duty cycle at full boost. You should probably run 750s. As far as the V-AFC goes, scaling of the MAP sensor signal is, while functional, not the *best* solution for a "high boost" setup.

Once you get to about 11-12psi, you should really think about a real management solution. Possibly even one of the commercial solutions.

Re:vafc question??

for 25 psi you will need all internals and possibly even sleeves. why go cheap on fuel mgmt.
