VAFC hack
So i got my vafc in the mail, and i have a pm6 ecu with y8 mini me swap. so i have vtec and i also have 450cc injectors how do it wire it to do the hack and the vtec?
anything will help almost done now |

install the vafc as normal as far as wiring goes

what are u using to activate vtec? i dont think u can hook up a V-afc to a pm6 with the vtec? am i wrong? ???

as of now i am using a rpm switch from summit. i got the vafc think i could ditch the rpm switch and run the 450s am i wrong?

RENR: ..actually, yes. ;)
The V-AFC comes with as an external VTEC activation switch. Set the RPM in, and the RPM out, and run the pink wire to your VTEC solenoid. All done. As for the V-AFC settings, TheDropShop is arcaic. Check out the Engine Manage FAQ, section 3 on settings. |

so i hook the vafc normal and just run the setting like they show on the drop shop. and run the pink wire to the vtec solenoid. and i should be good?

one thing i forgot the onwer manual does not say how to wire it to a pm6 ecu. do i wire it for a p28 5th gen ecu are they the same?
