Failure to connect sensors that are the backbone of stock ECU operation will result in failure. Notice the two usages of "failure" are a direct cause and effect relationship.

Nope, not at all. I ran c8 and c16 spliced together on my pr3 when my b16 was still n/a...worked just fine.

That's good to know, I would have ASSumed they needed seperate O2 signals.

If you want the best fuel economy it is better to run 2 seperate o2 signals like the factory setup. Most I noticed was #3 plug a hair lighter than the rest, but still with a good solid tannish-brown color, while #'s 1,2,&4 were slightly darker. I just ASSumed ;) it was due to #3 having a higher cylinder temp.

lol, I'm assuming that you gave up because of the VAFC you're selling in for sale?

Re: vafc crap new problems

Glad to see you're finally gonna ditch the afc route. Skip over Turbo-Edit and run BRE. TE was (and still is) a great program, but BRE owns TE for pr3's any day. Way more options available in BRE...launch limiter, cel disables, o2 disables, cel light to knock sensor/shift light etc, easier injector scaling (imo), up to 3 bar map sensor capability...the list goes on.
