vacume advance, safc install on an 87 civic si

I installed an S-AFC II on my friends 87 civic si and put some dsm 450cc injectors in it with the 10w 10ohm resistors on the four wires that are the same color on the injector wiring harness(the wires were red with a black stripe) We hooked up the safc as best we could I think we got all the wires correct except I question the map sensor wire, we used the White wire with a red stripe. We set the safc to -40% all the way across on the high throttle and the low throttle. Safc is set to six in six out and low throttle point is set to like 76 and the high is like 72, four cylinder with the throttle arrow pointing up.

My question is it barley runs, it is running super rich puts out alot of smoke and wont go past 3 thousand rpms, so I wonder if I have the safc hooked up wrong, is the map sensor bad and how do I test that. All the stuff in the car is stock, d15a3 (ew3), stock ecu, and it is a vacume advance distributer. How do we get it to run good with the 450cc so we can bolt on the t25 on and throw 5psi of boost down its throat.

well i did it myself, but i am going to tell everybody how i did it. found the map sensor in the chiltons manual and then after trying a few wires I found that it is the white wire coming directly off the map sensor you need to use for the safc pressure wire. Also you dont need resistors the 87 civic si has low impedence injectors so you just put the injectors in and yer done. The safc is set at -40% all the way across and the car idles and runs fantastic and revs really fast, now we can focus on bolting the turbo on.
