Default V-AFC Wiring

Sup everyone. I just got a vafc and after I wired it up it was not reading my rpm's and the idle was eratic. So I took my ohm meter and found out the rpm sense wire was the next wire over. So I moved it and that fix the rpms but not the idle. So I disconnected v-tec control wire and wired it back stock and that fixed the idle. My question is on a 2000 civic ex w/d16y8 is the green wire next to the rpm green wire on the ecu the v-tec control or is it the thicker brown wire?

Thanks,
Brian
