Using uberdata as a window switch?

Would it be possible to use the IAB open an close settings on uber to activate n20 solenoids? i was thinking of just running power to the solenoids then the ground to a toggle switch and then to the ecu @ a17. I just dont know how uber would react to the close being higher then the open rpm. this would only be like a 1500 rpm thing to spool a t4

You should test it. Just use a voltmeter to the IAB output. Or check for ground. I can't remember if OBD1 P72's switch power or ground.

If it works like you want, I would recommend wiring a relay in series with the solenoid that would close the circuit ONLY when at full throttle. As activating NO2 during part throttle would not be healthy for your engine.

on usdm p72s its switched on the neg side. Maybe i can use the n20 solenoids like a vtec solenoid that way i can have them active on a certain percentage of throttle. it would just take a rigged oil pressure switch. i just wanted to know if anyone has done it with any sucsess

you should go to uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum and check out uberdata 1.66 and the nitrous scrips. Some people have had success with them. I think they use the A/C output to activate the solenoids and possibly an input to arm it.
