using no management
ive been running a pr4 on a 1.5 with a small turbo safely for 3 weeks it actually runs rich which is ok. it hesitates a little then it clears out after a while I have a smc-dual and 450s but they are nothing but problems

Re:using no management
Huh? No, you are not running it "safely". Post pics of your fucked up pistons when you get a chance.

Re:using no management
What indicates its running rich? The Autometer A/F ratio gauge?
|
Re:using no management
..I don't even think this deserves more attention than:
Get Fuel Management before posting again. ::) |
Re:using no management
I don't know, I have a buddy with a greddy kit on a rex that's running a low 5psi, with stock fuel system/timing. He's driven it (almost) every day, dragged it, and did track days with multiple 20 minutes session of full boost and non stop visits to redline over and over, pure toture on the engine. It's still running perfectly to this day amazingly.

Re:using no management
Spork doesn't your buddy have a blue box/e-manage on his car? Doesn't 310's come with that kit?

Re:using no management
black plugs indicate rich

Re:using no management
Busted ass ringlands indicate lean.
So, you aren't using the SMC and the 450's, correct? You do realize with no fuel management your motor is going to take a very fast ----, right? :-\ I don't see why you would want to do that. ??? __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

Re:using no management
I do not support running without some sort of managment but I'll add to this messed up thread. I have a buddy that boosted a b18c t3 running 12lbs with NO managment just a fuel pump and FPR he drove on it for about 3k miles before selling it. messed up I know butthe car didnt smoke at all just the normal black residue fromteh exhaust. to this day i have not figured out how he ran it like that. o and he was using stock injectors
|
Re:using no management
Uh, "black residue" from the exhaust is not "normal". It is a sign that something is not running right. Entirely too rich.
