using low impendence injectors on my high impendence engine w/o resistors or box

What if i use a low impendence injectors on my 95 Civic EX engine without any resistor or resistor box? Just wanted to know what would happened? Would the car start?

i believe it may fry the ecu injector driver.

i dont know. however, i have tried doing the opposite of what you are saying - using 98 civic ex injectors on my 90 crx. i had them on my car for about six months until i could get the right ones, cuz my old injectors were leaking gas from the middle all over my ------- intake manifold and engine(fire hazard :P). i put them on cuz i just had them lying around. honestly, the car started fine, and i guess they worked. but... it idled like a lumpy peice of ----. surprisingly though, when racing the lumpiness went away. i always took my motor the the rev limit(7200ish rpm) and never had a problem.

but honestly if i were you i would just get the right injectors or get the resistor box. its really ------- annoying sitting at a red light and having your car sound like a stumbling piece of ----. plus its embarrassing/annoying when you got a girl in your car asking you whats up with your ride.

Out of curiousity: why wouldnt you take the WHOLE 10 MINUTES it takes to solder in the resistors in-line on your EG?

go get some 10 ohm resistors from radioshack, they are $1.69 for 2 and they work just as good as a resistor box, they just don't look as good. all 4 of mine are just bundled together in some electrical tape and nobody but me notices them.

mine are heat shrinked within the lil plastic dingus that bolts to the fuel rail. No one but me knows they're there.

ya? well not everybody got the plastic dingus thing with their motor, so just chillin behind the fuel rail is where my resistors go.
