Default update on cut

i cant find my other thread so im making this one. i was saying how my car cuts under full throttle between rpms 4200-5800ish. its like it misses thru that range then picks back up like normal after 6k. a:r's stay pretty solid thru the cutting. i put stock plug wires on, new cap and rotor, and new walbro 255 in and still cuts exactly the same. so im hoping its my dizzy since it is a z6 dizzy ghetto fitted to the y8 head. in the other thread someone said that obd1 cx or dx dizzy will bolt up to the y8 head fine. is this true cuz if so i will be trying that this weekend? or do u have any other ideas on what could eb going on

my plugs are gapped to .28. and im running rc 750's, walbro fuel pump, on crome. so today at random it started idling wierd. a:r's were 16-18. kinda bouncing around and the idle was lopey and my exhaust was popping.... and for some reason the a:r's were leeaaan while cruising, like 16ish compared to the usual 14.7ish.

Are you located in an area of the country where the temperature changes drastically? Has there been a change in temp. or barometric pressure to accompany this change in afr? From what I gather there are finikie issues with the iat and ect in all of the free rom editors. And these issues are exaggerated with big guns.

Yes, all D series OBD1 distributors will mate correctly to the Y8 _except_ the Z6. It's the odd one.

well i love in idaho. and today it was a little warmer than it has been lately. but the whole cut problem has been there in cold or warm. seem likes its only full throttle and my vtec engages at 4500 and that about when it does it. but my a:r's dont change when vtec engages...

well. new dx dizzy on. still boggy out of boost and leans way out under little throttle. but no cut more cut at all. but from about 4000-to redline it feels quite slower but the a:r's are like 10.0-10.3 compared to 11.5. would that make that much of a differance?
