understanding how to use TE

ok i need to understand how to use TE better, i need a description of the process of how to burn a chip and the things i will need. my understanding right now is that i need a laptop with the TE software, i make changes on the software, then use a chip burner to burn a chip with what i have done on the laptop right? how do you get the info from the computer to the burner? and what the hell is a romulator do i need one of these? and if i have someone burn me a base map chip, how do i get the info from that chip back into my laptop so i know where im starting from to make changes? im trying to make sence of this but for someone who has never done this it just seems like a lot to comprehend. anyones help would be greatly appreciated....

Re:understanding how to use TE

The first thing you need to do is to buy a burner and read the instructions that come with it. That will answer 50% of your questions. I suggest the Willem Enhanced/Universal (the one I have) or the Moates Burn1

The next thing you need to do is go here and read the write ups and TE Class logs:

http://www.-------------/te/index.htm

Then you want to paypal Xenocron $10 and sit in on the next TE class. Details here

That should give you a pretty good start..
