Uberdata and turbo installed, have q's

alright, i'm posting this on here in addition to the uberdata board, incase you brainiacs have any suggestions. ;)

so I finished up my chargepipes today and took the car for a spin. The turbo is spooling great, almost immediately. before I get into it here's my setup:

93 civic dx
d15b7 (totally stock, 150k miles)
rbh5 turbo from a subaru (dunno what wastegate is set at)
dsm 450cc injectors, honda resistor box
ford probe bov

So i'm driving along, and it's pulling great, until I hit about 5k rpm. then I feel sort of a misfiring thing. could be bogging i'm not sure. I didn't hear anything like pinging, but then again I have the gutted interior, fart can exhaust, turbo spooling, ect so I may have missed it. No smoke or anything.

I have the stock fuel pump; is it possible i'm not getting enough fuel? too much fuel?

Second question: I installed a serial port on my ecu for datalogging, and built my base tune on what I thought was a datalogging rom. I'm pretty sure I got it from this site. I hooked it to my laptop, turned on the car, and nothing. When i hit "connect" the guages on the laptop stay dead. no movement. what am I doing wrong? i'm sure it is hooked up correctly; I double checked. the rom maybe? help a brotha out guys!

Uberdata doesn't have datalogging support yet. I don't know if you were running ECU control for dattalogging, but ther isn't any in Uber... Also, if you can post the pasemap for myself and others to look over, that would be cool.

Actually I was just on the Uberdata board and checked out the .bin you posted there. I too beleive it's dumping too much fuel in at the higher RPM range. Just try dropping it down a bit.

yes I was running ecu control. Here's a link to the thread on the uberdata board so you can look at the bin: (for anyone else who cares)

:-X Sorry dennis. Also, yes you can use ECU control to dattalog, and you can use a wideband. Of course dyno tuning is best but not every shop around will tune a person's car using Uberdata, doe to liability reasons.
