Uberdata tuning, breaking up alot

Well, ive finally been trying to street tune my setup, 10 psi on an ihi rhb5, d16y8, 450cc dsm's, yada yada. using 1.7 uberdata, was always running a slightly modified bbk map, and it would always breakup in boost when i full throttled it. I figured it was running really rich, since it was meant for bigger t3 turbo. So i pluged the wideband in, plx, and found that it would run as low as 11.1, but as soon as it would start breaking up, it would read up to 13:1 and higher. Now, ive been trying to street tune this thing, and it seems if i lean it out, which i leaned it out alot, it gets worse, and it defianlty shouldnt need to be rich'end. I tried to stick my previous map back in, and it wouldnt work, weird. SO now ive been trying to adjsut feul to get ti to run solid, but i cant. Any ideas where to start. I know the y8 has some timing issues. But that still shouldnt keep me from getting this thing to run decent in boost with out breaking up hardcore.

Really, my wideband my read leean when it starts breaking up, but is it really jsut running to rich? Im about to go out and buy some new spark plug wires, the ones in there are about a year old, but they've been pulled in and out sooo many times. Hopeing this helps. ANy ideas though on the map?

If you are above 13:1 in boost, that is too lean, you may be lean misfiring, you may be detonating or pre-igniting (BAD).

Get it closer to 12:1 in boost, make sure you have a step or two colder plugs and gap them down to .030 or so.

Or you could let someone who knows what their doing tune your car.. ;) Just kidding man, what Xenocron mentioned above should keep you a bit safer as far as reducing the chances of detonation go. Your definately a tad too lean at 13:1. What's your ignition timing set at? Also how do your ignition map/s look in that basemap?

sorry guys it was my spark plug wires. replaced them and it runs much better. I am runnign a step colder plug, and got a decent base map in tehre and it was running around 11.5:1. sometimes a little richer, and now it only breaks up when full throttle, and in vtec. I leaned it out a little, and it helped. Im gonna make a few adjustments and play with it all day tomarrow. Also gonna replace the cap and rotor to see if that helps any.
