Uberdata and SAFC

I have a chipped ecu with uberdata, but i can't rev to more than 4k on neutral so i can't launch, and the car bogs before hits boost on first gear, when hits boost like at 2k the problem gone away. I think i have to much fuel in low rpms.

The question are if i can use SAFC to extract fuel at low rpms to make the car run smother.

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

learn how to tune with uberdata. using an SAFC along with uberdata is like going backwards.
what ecu are you using?
if you want email your .bin file that you are using and ill take a look at it

i wont garuntee cause this was made for my car and not yours, but it looks like it will be fine. i would recommend getting a real tune soon with a wideband. just use it as a basemap

Hey phil, i bought another chip from moates with your new bin, but the first time i start the car this barely idles for a few seconds then shut downs, later when i try to start again the car didn't start :'(, i try several times but not responds.

I change the chip again for the other that was a crap, and now at least i can use the car :-\.

The first time i bought a DIY chipping kit from moates with the crap bin, then this second time y buy only the chip with the bin you post but didn't work, so i don't want to stay buying chips :y and i need to buy a burner

Scott-EP 11-21-2006 05:57 AM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

oh, now i feel kinda bad. i thought you had a burner.

Walter 11-21-2006 04:43 PM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

i recommend to you to burn yourself ur chips... or to use a chips bunerd with good maps but made by reliable guys like xenocron..his chips work good!.

Scott-EP 11-21-2006 05:00 PM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

yea, i never would have given you a bin of mine to use if i knew you had to spend money to use it. if you want to send me that chip i will put my 2nd try on it and ill pay to ship it back to you. as long as the chip is electronicly erasable. what chip is it?

hard2obtain 11-21-2006 08:02 PM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

The chips are 27sf512 model c2, and they they are erasable, but don't worry, im going to save to buy a chip burner, maybe a Moates BURN1 USB Chip Programmer, what you think about this one?

Scott-EP 11-21-2006 08:08 PM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

i dont know anything about chip burners really. the only one i have used is my old willem burner. it works great, but you have to learn all of the little quirks about it

Walter 11-22-2006 04:03 PM

Re: Uberdata and SAFC

Moates burner1 FTW!
