uberdata question
so i found a shop near my house to socket my ecu. i asked them if i could give them a program to burn onto the chip, and they said ya. now i know that you can change settings in the ROM editor...right? because i am going to be using 390's instead of 450's and I want to change the program to those setting. will the rom editor let me do all this? i tried looking for the program but i cant find it. i have saved a couple of files from ubderdata - like the StockLS.bin - now should i just tell the guy to burn that file onto the chip or do i need to edit the file before i burn it on there?? thanks

Re: uberdata question
He's going to need to edit the file before he burns it to the chip.. But, he should be educated before attempting to just do this to a customers car. technically if he can tune/work with Hondata, he should be able to learn and use Uberdata. the principles and table measurements are the same. Just be sure you explain your setup and what you need changed and make sure they understand that. Why not have Projekteg or Xenocron work magic on your ecu?

Re: uberdata question
becuase i dont have to pay shipping to them, and this way i know who i am sending it to. its only about 20mins away from my house, and they said they could do it in an hour. so....but thanks.
on more question....the data logging cable....can i get that at a computer store? if so what is it called? can i use any old 9pin connector is there a write up where you solder the data logging cable? thanks

You or the guy who is chipping your ECU are really going to ---- up your car. You have no idea what you are doing. You should have Kevin or Chris do it and give you basemap then you need to find someone that can tune Uberdata. Other than that you should just drain the oil and fire it up and go for a drive. That will save future headache.

see my project car is my daily driver, i cant wait 3 days to get my ecu back. i would rather drive a half an hour away and wait an hour until its finished.
