Uberdata question
 

I got a question, may be dumb, but oh well. My turbo's working great, no problems at all! Just got my datalogging cable from projekteg (using one of his ecu's as well). I was guessing that I need software for my laptop as well, before I can use the datalogging feature. Where can I get this? thanx.

no, you don't need any software for the cable you have. just plug it in to your computer, go to your device manager and find out what com port it's at (can only be on 1-4, any of those four will work), then when you open the uberdata map and go under data logging, just select the com port that the data logging cable is on and it will start logging.

Guessing it is serial. So usually they are on com 1, unless you use a usb to serial adapter. Then it will go where ever it wants. And you just have to set it to 1-4.

thanx for the help! I have to buy a serial to usb cable because I dont have a 9 pin serial port on my laptop. :( Oh well... guess I'll do it after i get back from sea! but thanx
