Re: uberdata and on the fly tuning

ok so the data logging taps into a few engine sensors and the wideband?
does uberdata have datalogging built right into it?

is the basic idea behing on the fly tuning to use it to tune and then burn a chip when you get the tune you are looking for?

im trying to learn as much of this as i can but i really do better with a hands on approach

Datalogging taps into all the honda sensors.

Yes, you tune your car on the fly and then generally burn a chip. Though, if you have the Ostrich, you can just leave it in your car all the time. You'll find you tend to play with the tune all the time if you have your own equipment (Laptop, Datalogging cable, Wideband...etc)

Re: uberdata and on the fly tuning

this feels extremely overwhelming right now but ive always been one to sell myself short on my abilities, im sure i can figure it out once i actually have it to play with, i will probably tune for 4 or 5 months with the NA Z^ before i go turbo so i should be alright

thanks for the help and sorry for "noobie" questions ive asked and those to come

Uberdata supports RPT with the Ostrich only

so how exactly does it work? im guessing you need ostrich software to do this?

also does ostrich double as a burner?

The Ostrich is not a burner, it emulates a chip in your ECU.

You use any of the software editors that support it and upload whatever BIN file you want to run to it.
