uberdata

all this time ignoring the goodness of uberdata, was because I did understand what and how, and everytime I ask all I was told is research, so I did, and after months of researching and still not understanding, I just learned one thing, my ecu is aready chipped, back in my ricer days I bought a chip off ebay, that claimed 15 hp,with instructions and all the parts needed I did it myself... and then I was just reading pgmfi forum and read the chipping instructions to find out all I need to run uberdata is the chip burner, or just and already progammed chip, but I would like to be able to make changes myself so I'm going back to the board,

to the point I want be able to monitor and make changes on my laptop, what would I need for that, what all would I need for datalogging, I'm researching but be honest, sometimes it just register..

Re:uberdata

First off are you trying to open a map or install the program? If you have XP you click on what you downloaded and it unzips. Then you click on the chip icon. That will open Uberdata. Then you have to open the LS bin or the GSR bin depending on VTEC and then import your type on top. Example: I open the LS bin then import the P06 on top of it. Or if you have someones premade map you can just start by opening that.

Re:uberdata

thanks for your help, I had it all this time, but I misunderstood it, I thought I was supposed to be able to open the actual icons,,,, now I figured out that all that was important was the chip icon.
