Uberdata....

I am workin on my turbo set-up, gonna be running uberdata. I am going to have street_kings do it. In the mean time I have an extra car for driving while the civic is down.
My question:
I am going to send him my ECU and have him program it, but will the program run on a stock vehicle, or maybe with just 450 injectors 'till I get the turbo on. (will I still be able to drive my car)--it would just run rich right? Can someone help me out here!?!

Technically if you have the 450's in it and the maps are good it should run fine without boost. It will compensate when you have boost as well. But yes it will run rich. Just stay low in the R's.

Re:Uberdata....

so what's your setup now? do you have the 450's installed? also, do you have a burner? basically, uberdata can be used to run almost any setup conceivable. I've seen guys post who run uberdata on a conpletely stock integra ls to gain 15-20 horsepower. the beauty of uber is that you can tune it for anything, as long as you have the burner or someone to burn it for you. you can run a stock bin if you car is still running N/A with stock injectors. then, when you turbo and put the 450's in, simply burn a new chip for the 450's and boost. its that simple. I'm sure street kings will burn you a chip for whatever setup you need. he's helped me get my uber project up and running. this stuff is AWESOME!!
Mike

ps-if you run the right tune, you shouldn't run rich. like I said you can run a program for whatever setup you wish, and tune it for 12:1 across the board!

In the interest in not ------ing dis-information. No freakin way on a untouched motor. Maybe 4-5ft/lbs of torque down low and mid, but not 15-20whp. IMHO

Re:Uberdata....

-ok,ok,ok, so im a little confused, what is this burner everyone is talkin about? I have an extra lap-top, and I could do all of my own tuning, so I could probably do most of this myself, but I woud probably ---- it up to no end...
-i thought that the ECU would come back to me ready to run? I would have the 450's installed by the time I get the ecu back.... Maybe I need to read the FAQ section again, (for like the 100th time)
-Where can I get this burner at? I know the local dyno has a computer that they do alot of maping on, and they tune alot of turbo'd cars around here, and one of the fastest all track hatch, so maybe they could help me out?

<cough> okay, never on any 0BD0-1 engine<<cough>>

Pretty weak if you ask me that Honda left 15-20 on the table for the K20.
