UBER QUESTION
 
i dl'ed reaneud1.7 bin from ud's web site.i burned it, installed it, ran it and cel was on.but it did run good,it was the eld which was enabled.so i opened the bin and disabled it,thats all i did.saved it and now it runs like ass.i reburned 3 other chips to have the same result.what did i do wrong?

eld should be enabled unless you have a jdm or edm ecu, so if you have it enabled and you have a cel for it, chances are, you may have a bad ground somewhere or something.

my e/m set up is p28/obd1 conversion on a 90 teg.i read that eld should be disabled on obdo cars. :-\

OBD0 Cars have ELD (some)...if they have the ELD why would you need to disable it?

every converted obd0 car that i've done, i have left eld enabled. hell, actually, i don't even know what i was talking about in my first post, i must have been half asleep, b/c as far as i know, jdm cars do have elds, i was thinking we were talking about pa sensor for some reason :P the only time i have ever got an eld cel, was on a crx that was converted, and it ended up being the valve cover ground :-\

An ELD code shouldnt even make your car run any different anyways. ???
