Uber or crome?

So i purchases a complete package from chris (xeno) (ECU dataloggin cable and LC-1) and i'm not sure on what software i should use. Also i've read everythign on the PGFI site and eveything i can find on here and i'm still not 100% clear on eveyrthing. I was thinking of just paying chris to come down and tune me up while teaching me what he is doing (only about 30miles) from him. But i at least want a safe base map for start up so i can make sure everything is running right before he comes down. Can someone sugest a safe BIN i can use for the first startup on my new engine. My set up is as follows.
b18b1 block
wiesco pistons
Eagles H beam rods
Crower dual stage valve springs / Ti retainers
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RC 310 injetors (will be upgrading in the spring)
ITR oil pump
ITR water pump
All new honda seals / gakets and belts
18g turbo
Magnaflo high flow cat
Apexi world sport cat back
Custom IC and piping
Greddy type-s BOV
And a bunch of other ---- that doesn't really matter. Any help would be great. The head will be coming back fro the machine shop early next week so hopefully the motor will be back in the car on the 9th or 10th.

Well either program will work just fine for you. I personally would run Uberdata becaue it's an LS, but Crome certainly shouldn't be ignored here. It's completely up to what you want to run and tune with.

Re: Uber or crome?

Any advantages of one over the other? Why would uber be better for a non vtec motor?
What i'm really looking for is what setup will be more stable.

Re: Uber or crome?

Theres really no prefference to me... Crome (freeware) feels much smoother and has some features that Uberdata doesn't that make tuning that much easier and better. If you have Crome pro or know someone who does I would go with Crome, but for me I am just more familliar using Uber on non Vtec engines and it works just fine for it. It's totally up to you though.
