TurboEdit Lives on

I quite simply am dismayed at the conduct of many of the forum members. I am not just referring to who you may think.

I am unwilling for TurboEdit to just "dissapear" as Jason seems to have it.

---- that, and ---- all the immature crybabies who need someone saying thankyou every two minutes for them to feel ok about what they are doing.

This bullshit over turboedit makes me sick.

I've put literally hundreds (if not thousands) of hours in to PGMFI between site maintenance, mediating disputes between members, reading/writing code... Do I give two fucks what any of you think? N ------- O

Why? Because I don't care what Jason Parker, Mike Robichaud, Jesus ------- Son of a Bitch Christ thinks of what I do. I'm doing it cause I think it needs to be done, and I want to help the honda community that has given me so much joy in the form of my 85 CRX (RIP), 91 CRX LS/turbo, 95 Civic coupe, and numerous friends cars that are doing things now they never did before because they can actually tune their own ECUs without a 3 or 4 figure price tag. Knowing that I helped kids(and adults) all over the world get more out of thier hobby, their passion is priceless to me.

Without further ado, turboedit is now available on PGMFI, http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum/read.php?f=69&i=1&t=1

I sincerely hope that its author realizes how ------- dumb it looks for him to stop developing a really good thing because of a few haters. ---- them.

In the wise words of my favorite ------- and longtime idol, Dennis Leary: "---- them! Throw them in the fire, more meat for the other meat eaters! Raaaar!"

I just re-read my post and realized that I used too much profanity and I used the lord's name in vain.

Please Jesus, forgive me and help other see through the anger in my words to find the truth. Amen.

Thank you blundar, I was very close to smashing my skull into the keyboard to get so close yet to have another editor go down :( I really do hope everything gets resolved, everyone sleeps on it, calms down, decide not to throw all of this work away and move on with life.

OK dirty bitches..

I can't BELIEVE this. TE was off the site for just a few hours and my mailbox is full of support mail. Thank you all. I do appreicate it. I guess I'll just keep on going with it. I still feel that the resentment that lies within PGMFI towards my editor and I is ridiculous.

I respect Dave (blundar) whole heartedly, and if he says do it, I'll do it. Sooo.. The TE website is mainly back up.

I'm glad you realized the stupidity of your actions. BRING IT BACK HE SAYS... (I told you I was your Stalin. :))

BTW, lets clear one thing up here. "PGMFI" is a website. The webserver has no emotions, and IT DOESNT RESENT YOU. I don't resent you. I don't give a ---- if someone else does. I can tell you that George Ricketts (who wrote the MAPhack) doesn't give two shits whether you use his code in ROMs your editor can open. Chill the ---- out.

Let the haters hate. You're doing good work, and you can click delete on an email from myself, Mike, the Dalai Lama, Jesus ------- Christ or George Bush just as easily as you can delete spam.

I've pissed a decent number of people off in my day. I've pissed a decent number of people off with my work at PGMFI. I've done a decent amount of questionable, even shady stuff to get where the honda DIY community is now. I have regrets (most notably, alienating both John Cui and Blake Warner to the extent that I did) but I can't do anything about that now - I can only continue onwards, doing the best I know how to do.

I urge you highly to follow your own path and not be so easily swayed off it by others. If you don't want to be writing TurboEdit and you don't think it is right, don't do it. If you are involved with the project, then keep on going and don't be so ------- sensitive to what people think of your work and what you say.

Remember the wise words of our friend Dennis. :)

You just took the words right out of my mouth, don't lump MEMBERS of a site into a whole. I'm sure 99% of the MEMBERS of PGMFI.org feel the same way blundar, I and every other supporting email sender you recieved. The information on the site is there for ALL... and you can't deny that people have indeed made commercial use of it, but thats ------- life and we all move on.

Oh mann...all this over a free editing software.
Most people using these editing software knows who has contributed to it and to the developement and the help from others.
Anyways keep up the good work...there will always be haters, but there willb e far more thankfull people than haters. And that's all that matters.
I'm gald I don't have to spend a few G's for a standalone

Off topic....I burned my first chip a week ago. i burned a PM7 mugen bin for a ZC in a PM6 ECU ::)...I added the 4k launch control to it and I put the rev-limiter at 7600 rpm's(It was set at 19200..sumting like that..weird)
And idle is set at 830.
Well the car idled at 1300 rpm's and the launch control worked, but the rev-limiter was also revving at 4k rpm's :(
i don'thave a UV eraser and can't test some more to figure out some stuff. Will be getting a AT29C256 in about 2 weeks...they had to order it for me

I did a lot of code testing and troubleshooting for both Mike, and to a lesser extent George, over the whole OBD0/Ghettodyne thing. I'm very apssionate about it. So, let me make my position about that little prick Jason Parker clear:

We need to clone him at least a hundred times, if not more. We need more people like him, who can think and understand an perform. I will physically beat any of his innumerate ignorant clueless detractors, if they should ever have the misfortune of crossing my path, with 140 lbs of awkward fury.

Should I post up the emails in my Inbox from Mike where he is discussing Z Control, which he wrote for his 300ZX TT? I have a beta of it, and it is mostly complete and much more extensive and far reaching than Ghettodyne ever was. You can tell where he was focussing all his energy before he cancelled the Ghettodyne project - it wasn't on Hondas. The fact of the matter is, Ghettodyne was a source of stress for Mike - a lot of people counted on him for it, and the whole time he didn't even own a Honda and was directing his passion towards another car - but couldn't let Ghettodyne go because of other people counting on him. Well, a bright, competent guy is here to fill the void. You whiny bitches don't deserve him.

And, just to make Blundy feel less alone, ---- baby jesus. He's about as worthless as VTEC, I piss on him.
