Turboedit ignition

Would somebody be kind enough to take a look at my ignition map to see if everything is ok? I apologize for being such a noob, but I wanted to make sure everything is ok before I started in street tuning. It's for a b18a at 10 psi with 450cc injectors.

Looks fine I guess...the vacuum maps dont look like a stock B18a but it will run.

yikes, the timing #'s are all over on that thing, mine are colums of consistent #'s all over.

guess b-series is a different world.

Re: Turboedit ignition

i was confused wheni saw a LS stock map for the first time, honda pulled all the timing from ~3300 to ~4400 rpm
i want to get my hatch on the dyno before i pull the engine to see what changing that will do

Re: Turboedit ignition

looks like you got a little too much timing pulled in boost, look at the last column last row...your at like 15 deg. i would think it should be closer to 20 deg.

How are you making that assumption without knowing anything about his setup? ::)

Re: Turboedit ignition

I apologize for any confusion. Here is the complete set up if it helps.
b18a
equal length manifold with 3" dp and exhaust
450 cc
2step colder plugs
walboro pumps
t3/t04e 57 trim
spearco fmic

The way I got that table:
Opened ng55 1.8 bar map.
I put it boost option, then copy my tuned fuel table from another tuned old bin over, the result is perfect idle and partial throttle a/f since it was tuned.
However, I didn't want to copy the igntion over since I wasn't sure it was going t work.
Then I retard the ng55 bin igition to -.60 bin per pound and that's how i ended up with posted table.

Re: Turboedit ignition

Your part throttle should have very little change on the ignition side.

Go ahead and use that vacuum ignition map, then use the TE boost tools to create an ignition map based on that.
